SMARTdesks, Inc. has 5 basic work surface configurations:
Standard Desktop:
A flat, unbroken desktop with an 80mm round wire access grommet standard. This configuration can easily support a variety of monitor types and accessories like LCD monitor arms.
Semi-recessed CRT:
This work surface has a void with a recessed shelf for your tube-type CRT computer monitor. The void is large enough to accommodate up to a 19" diagonal CRT. This option requires the lectern be 30 inches deep. Larger CRTs can be accommodated by a custom depth lectern.
Semi-recessed Flat Panel:
This work surface has a void with a recessed shelf for your flat panel (LCD/plasma) monitor. The void is large enough to accommodate most 19" flat panel monitors, Wider monitors can be accommodated by cutting a custom width void.
Sub-surface CRT:
The work surface has a void with a fully recessed shelf for your tube-type CRT computer monitor. A piece of tempered glass fits into a channel and is flush with the top of the surface. The void is large enough to accommodate up to a 19" diagonal CRT. This option requires the lectern be 30 inches deep. Larger CRTs can be accommodated by a custom depth lectern.
Level™ by SMARTdesks, Inc.
Your flat screen monitor is attached to a rotating panel in the top of the surface. It is mounted with a VESA mounting bracket and can accommodate most LCD monitors with an exterior case width of 18 1/2 inches or less. Two versions of Level™ are available. Level I™ has an integrated keyboard that opens the mechanism when you pull it out. Level II™ has a T-handle that mounts to the bottom-front lip of the surface that opens the panel.
